Thermal Auricular Therapy Course

The Thermal Auricular Therapy course is a course that meets National Occupational Standards (NOS).This means you can be confident in the knowledge that the content and hours spent studying on this course meets the required level to gain a fully recognisable qualification. 

 

Thermo auricular therapy which is also known as ‘hopi ear candling’ involves lighting and inserting a ‘candle’ into the ear, creating a relaxing atmosphere for your client.

This course will teach you to apply a thermal auricular treatment safely and effectively using Hopi ear candles. The course is designed to provide you will the skills to carry out this relaxing therapy with complete confidence and safety. You will also learn a sinus drainage routine to complement and enhance this therapy.  This ancient holistic therapy is designed to leave clients feeling calm and content.

Course Duration

This is a one day course, with additional time for completion of case studies

Starting at 10am finishing at 4.30pm

• Demonstration including pressure point, lymphatic drainage & ear massage

Qualification Gained

IGCT Diploma in Thermal Auricular Therapy

Assessment methods

Practical assessment on the day and the completion of two case studies (two treatments on each client)

​

Pre requisite

Students must be over 18.

Recognised Anatomy and Physiology and Massage or Aromatherapy qualification

A good standard of written and verbal English.

You will need to purchase your own products and equipment in order to carry out your case studies and practice your skills.

Or £50 deposit, followed by 1 x £100 instalment or 2 x £50 instalments.
